Adding a New Attachment

Add images, invoices, job plans, care guides, and more as attachments in VMX!

Easily attach various images and documents to purchase orders, customer profiles, item pages, and more using one of the following options:

Option 1: More>Attachments

The first way to add an attachment is to select the "More" button at the top of the page. Next, select "Attachments". From this page, you can drag and drop the file directly or select the +Attachment button on the right. You will be taken to the attachment page where you will be able to select the type and add a note if applicable. Finally, click "save".

Option 2: Name>Attach File

First, make sure your session is unlocked. Then, on any page you can associate an attachment with (item, customer, PO, etc.), click your name in the top right and select "Attach File". Then you will be prompted to select the correct file and attach.

Option 3: Name>Attach from QR

First select the inventory item, a customer account, or PO you want to associate with the file. In the top right corner of the page, select your name and then "Attach from QR". You will be promoted to categorize the attachment. Once categorized, you will be able to scan a QR code with a mobile device and upload the correct document or image.

Option 4: Click & Drag

First select the inventory item, a customer account, or a PO you want to associate with the file. Simply select the file you want to attach and drag the item onto the VMX page until a green plus icon appears, then release the file. You will be taken to the attachment page where you will be able to select the type and add a note if applicable. Finally, click "save".
