Welcome to the newest version of VMX! Check out some of the updates we've introduced over the past few months!
General
If you have a dialogue (pop-up) open, pressing the escape key closes it, instead of locking VMX.
Inventory
Attributes: The search results now exclude items with a negative on-hand quantity when "Only include items that are currently in stock" is checked.
Price rule: Added support for excluding certain customer classes from item price rules:
Parent/Child: Added support for fractional child quantities.
Website: The globe icon on the Website tab of the item page indicates that the item is visible online (for companies using VMX WEB):
Register
Find Receipt: Added "PO # contains" search field:
Items...: Under the Register "Items..." dropdown, after selecting "Create Reservations", "Growing" has been added as a new reservation reason.
Load Tickets: Register load tickets now show refunds correctly (previously were shown as positive quantities):
Want to set an item up to generate a load ticket when it's sold or returned? Go to the item page, scroll down to the bottom right, and check the box for "Load Item?"!
Import XLSX: When importing an Excel file to the Register, the bug that caused the imported receipt items to be duplicated has been fixed.
Reports
Daily Report (Over Time): This new report allows the user to see Daily Report data over multiple periods at once!
For example, to compare 12 consecutive weeks starting February 6th, your report parameters would be "Week", 02/06/2023, and 12:
Items: Added a filter for only nontaxable receipts - "Only non tax receipts" checkbox.
Weeks on Hand: This new report shows the current weeks on hand for each department, meaning at the starting cost, the department will be sold out after the number of "Weeks on Hand" and sold down to 50% after the number of "50% Weeks on Hand", according to the past year of sales data. This report can also be run by Sub Department and from any date!
Units Sold by Month: Added a division filter if your company has multiple sales divisions.
Adjustments (Activity): This new report lists all inventory adjustments over a custom date range:

Email Statements: Added the option to print selected statements from this report.
Top Spending: Added support for grouping top spending customers by division.
WDR: Changed the order of the report to better match the WDR template. (For Garden Center Group members)
Admin
Payroll: For custom date ranges that align with 1/2 of a two-week pay period, this report now shows overtime hours and the printed format of this report has been improved!
Printers: Viewing all jobs for a print queue loads 100x faster.
