To create a promotion click the 'More' drop down menu and select Promotions.

Welcome to the promotions page! Here you can manage current/past promotions or create new one by clicking '+ Promotion' button.

Next step is filling out the informational fields.

Once that's done you move over to the item filter to designate where you want to apply the promotion.

You can leave this field blank if you want the promotion to apply storewide!

To create a rule simply click the drop down menu and select one of the choices given.

Example: If you only want your promotion to apply to a certain department.

Select Department -> equal -> Department name

Make sure the 'AND' option is toggled in blue. Rules connected with an 'AND' must ALL be true.

Select Sub Department -> not equal -> Sub Department name

But wait there's more!

Example: If you wanted to include more than one department in a promotion

Select Department -> equal -> Department name...as many times as needed.

Make sure the 'OR' option is toggled in blue. Rules connected with 'OR' must only have one that is true.

This is where it can be a little confusing, but don't worry we got you!

Now let's talk about grouping!

This can be used in order to use two or more rules at one time without intersecting with one another.

Example: If you wanted to include multiple departments in a promotion while also excluding certain sub departments in one of the same departments.

Select Department -> equal -> Department name

Click the '+Add group' button and repeat the first step: Select Department -> equal -> Department name

Add another rule and select your sub department to exclude: Select Sub Department -> not equal -> Sub Department name

Make sure to use both 'AND' & 'OR' when grouping rules.

If there are sub departments that you want exclude in the promotion then click thebutton.

To add a group simply click thebutton.
