Inventory

Search: Our inventory search is faster & more efficient!

Physical Inventory Counts: Merge held sales to existing review counts without losing your edits! Just select the held sale and stashed review and click "With Checked" > "Review Counts Checked" to combine them!

Items:

  • Added an "item sells with" option (auto-selling a companion product)

  • Added a release option on reservations that removes the reservation but maintains a record of the reservation:

Tags:

  • Added PO# as a source field on the tag designer

  • Tag queue checkboxes stay checked For example, once you check a group of items in the tag queue and select "With Checked" > "Ready", the selection no longer resets! You can immediately set the tag type without needing to re-select the items!

Orders

With Checked: Cancel & Uncancel multiple items at once

Register

Import: Select "XLSX Import" to create a sale from your import file (minimum import fields: PLU, Qty)

Negatives:

  • Negative items turn orange when rung up:

  • The register now takes into account reserved quantities when determining if items rung up are being oversold For example, if you have 10 total on hand and 4 reserved, if you ring up more than 6, VMX will show the item as "going negative" (turns orange, "sad" beep, screen notification)

Customers

  • Added gender field to the customer profile

Reports

Weather: The weather is back on Daily & WDR reports!

WDR Improvements:

  • WDR now shows mapping issues and warnings

Best/Worst Selling: You can now run this report By Revenue (Sales $)

Item Sales:

  • The "Only returns" checkbox filters the report to only show item returns

  • Customer payment info is added to section headers when the report is grouped by "Receipt/Item"

Departments Receiving: Subdepartment filter added

GMROII:

  • Added support for a custom date range

  • Added trailing 12-month (TTM) period

  • Now displays dates of inventory samples below the report

Totals, Totals, Totals: Select which location(s) to include

Department PTD vs: Downloadable

Drawers: Shows real-time cash level

(Inventory) Daily: Shows price changes (last table on the report)

Worksheet: Loads 30x faster!

Media Report:

  • Custom date range now works with a division filter set

  • New cash payout detail popup- just click the value on the Cash Payout section of the report to see a popup of the date, cashier, customer, receipt #, and amount of each payout

Time Clock

Forgotten feature! Add messages for your employees to see when they clock in by logging into Admin, clicking "Configuration", and scrolling to the "Message of the Day" field!

Promotions

  • Search and filter promos via the table header

  • Expired promos are now hidden from the promotions page

  • Bug Fix! Fixed cases where the best deal was not applied when 1 item qualified for multiple promotions

  • Choose whether you want to "stack" your price rule with qualifying promotions using the checkbox on the item price rule tab

  • Filter by Collections!

Attachments

Caption: Add an attachment "caption" to item images that will show online (e-commerce sites)

Sweep: New register alert when there's over $600 cash in the drawer! (Dollar amount does not include starting cash & is customizable)

Validated Returns: Added to the "touch" buttons

Added "How Hear?" to customer profile

Weekends: New report showing weekend sales data!

No Sales: New report showing "no sale" (opening the cash drawer) data by employee

Added date range to all year-to-date rows to clarify how the data is being calculated

Related Purchases: New report showing customers who purchased item(s) or department selected and how much they spent in total on related receipts

Open to Buy Sub Dept: New Open to Buy report, just for subdepartments!
