Customizing Your Department Sales Report

Select the drop-down menu at the top of the page to see all the time periods available in one table (day, week-to-date, month-to-date, quarter-to-date, or year-to-date), or view only one.

Viewing the Report Table

• Department- The name of the department

• Period- The time period the data is from

• Quantity- the number of items sold

• Sales $- the total sales dollars from the items sold

• % of total sales- The percentage of total sales this department claims

• Cost- the cost of the items sold

• Profit- the gross profit from the item sales

• Percent of total profit- the percentage of total profit this department claims

• Margin- The margin of the sales of the item

• Adjustment dollars- The total cost of adjustments of this department in inventory. Adjustments include cost changes, quantity changes, warrantied items and more. Select this value to be redirected to the corresponding Inventory Adjustments PTD
• Adjustment dollars as a percent of sales

• Net profit
