What's on the Page?

The Coupon feature is exclusives for specific coupons on a department or item that the customer need to mention to be eligible. To automatically discount a specific item, use a Price Rule

Search Filters

Toggle between "Exclude Old" and "Show All" on the drop down field to see active coupons and all coupon in the table.

To view all the active coupons within a certain time period, use the start and end field and select a date on the pop up calendar, then select the "Go" button to populate the table below.

Coupon Information Table

  • Description- The name of the coupon entry

  • Code- a readable unique code attached to each coupon

  • UPC Code- a unique code attached to each coupon that is compatible with scanners and is automatically generated when the coupon is created.

  • Start Date- The date the coupon becomes active

  • End Date- The date the coupon expires

  • Amount Discount- The dollar amount subtracted from a subtotal or item

  • Percent Discount- The percentage subtracted from a subtotal or item

  • Receipts - The number of receipts that have the coupon applied to them

  • Percent New Customers- The percentage of customer's who used this coupon that had a new account

  • Percent with no customer- The percent of customers who used the coupon with no account attached to the receipt

  • Attached Revenue- The sum of the transactions completed with this coupon on the receipt

  • Average Revenue- the average total of the receipts with this coupon attached

  • Minimum Price- the minimum price of the item or subtotal you can apply the coupon to

  • Require Customer?- Select whether or not you want to require a customer account on the receipt before being able to apply the coupon.

  • Maximum uses per customer- limit the customer to a specified number of uses of the coupon on the history of their account.

  • Edit- select this icon to edit the details of the coupon-- detail below

  • Delete- select this icon to delete the coupon.

On the Register screen whilst applying coupons, if one is applied incorrectly, the Register search bar will show an easy-to-read message so you can amend the sale or edit the coupon.

Adding and Editing Coupons-

Select the "+ New Coupon" button to add a new coupon or select the edit icon on the far right side of a coupon entry to edit an existing coupon.

  • Description- The name of the coupon entry

  • Percent Discount- The percentage subtracted from a subtotal or item

  • Type- Specify using the drop down menu whether you would like the coupon to work on only items, only the subtotal, or on either

  • Minimum Price- the minimum price of the item or subtotal you can apply the coupon to

  • Require Customer?- Select whether or not you want to require a customer account on the receipt before being able to apply the coupon.

  • Maximum uses per customer- limit the customer to a specified number of uses of the coupon on the history of their account.

  • Note- add a note for employees to see while applying the coupon to a sale.
